Windmill Stars presented a cheque for £200 to Cancer Research Charity. Windmill Stars FC has worked to raise funds to support the cancer research charity during the month of October.

Earlier in the month the first team played in pink socks to recognise and support people in their fight with cancer.

This illness impacts us all and everyone at the club knows someone who has battled the disease.  Before kick-off the club presented Gary Copeland and Paddy O Hanlon representing the charity with a cheque for £200.

The clubs annual Halloween sponsored walk also helped raise funds and the club will continue to support the charity throughout the season. Watch this site for more information.  You can support the charity by donating via their website
